Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I have been employed by the North Carolina State University Libraries since 1997 in the Serials Unit of the Acquisitions and Discovery Department. I primarily work with print and electronic resources for the D.H. Hill, Jr., Library and James B. Hunt, Jr., Library and am the unit liaison for the William Rand Kenan, Jr., Veterinary Medical Library.
When I am not in the Library, I am an active historian and living historian. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994 and my Master of Arts degree in Public History with a concentration in Museum Studies from North Carolina State University in 2000.
As both a historian and living historian I research life on the home front during the period of the American Revolution and the early Federal Era. I have a deep and committed interest in discussing difficult topics, including slavery, as they relate to our history.
